The wastewater cleaning in wastewater treatment plants is intended to efficiently and energy-efficiently remove contaminated contents in small spaces in as little time as possible. The determination of relevant measuring values NH4 and NO3 is very important for these processes. The regulation can be optimized directly by continuous measurement of these immediately available parameters directly in the process. This ensures an efficient wastewater cleaning, which can significantly reduce wastewater fees and especially energy expenses.

The ISE sensors VARiON®Plus, AmmoLyt®Plus and NitraLyt®Plus are the ideal sensors for this application. For more than 10 years, these ISE sensors have been used successfully for the regulation of the stimulation. Their durable, calibration-free electrodes warrant a reliable measurement for long time periods. The robust design allows a simple manual cleaning process without special precautions. For applications with extremely heavy contamination, we offer an additional compressed air cleaning system. Nitrate is a normal intermediate product of the biodegradation processes in wastewater treatment plants. But if nitrite can be found in biology, this can be a sign for a demand for optimization of these processes. A safe and reliable measurement and differentiation of nitrite and nitrate are offered by our spectral sensors NitraVis® NI and NiCaVis® NI. This makes them the ideal sensors for the best possible monitoring and optimization of the stimulation.

All optical nitrogen sensors are equipped with the maintenance-free WTW ultrasound cleaning system. This cleaning principle is completely housed in the sensor's interior and functions without any moving parts. The sensor housing is completely closed. There is no need to replace wiper profiles or seals. This reduces the operating cost and manual cleaning to a minimum. This saves you time and cash!
